2021 Jaguar F-Type Heritage 60 Edition is a Modern Twist on Classic E-type

Christian Wardlaw | Dec 08, 2020

In celebration of its original E-type sports car, Jaguar and its SV Bespoke team are building a limited-production run of the 2021 Jaguar F-Type Heritage 60 Edition. And when we say limited-production, the emphasis is on the word “limited.”

“Celebrating 60 years of the iconic Jaguar E-type is the perfect moment to create our first-ever SV Bespoke limited edition – and the rarest F-Type, with just 60 cars available globally,” said Mark Turner, Commercial Director, Jaguar SV Bespoke.

Available in both coupe and convertible body styles, every F-Type Heritage 60 Edition is painted Sherwood Green, a color originally offered for the 1961 E-type and unavailable on any Jaguar since the 1960s. Gloss black and chrome exterior details set this special edition apart, along with forged aluminum, diamond-turned 20-inch wheels with a gloss black finish.

Inside, the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition has exclusive Caraway and Ebony premium leather covering the seats and other parts of the cabin. Jaguar says the E-type’s rearview mirror housing inspired the aluminum console trim, and the car includes special Caraway-trimmed floor mats, exclusive treadplates, and a commissioning plaque to identify just how rare the vehicle is.

Jaguar bases the Heritage 60 Edition on the F-Type R. That’s the go-fast version, equipped with a 575-horsepower supercharged V-8 and all-wheel drive. According to Jaguar, it accelerates to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 186 mph.

Jaguar says the new F-Type Heritage 60 Edition release date is March of 2021, 60 years after the first E-type went on sale. As for the price, well, if you have to ask, you can’t afford it. (Actually, Jaguar didn’t release pricing information.)
