The Ford Bronco is in such high demand that many will be waiting deep into next year to get ahold of one. That builds pressure and expectations around the 2022 Ford Bronco, especially on special editions and updates for the new model year. Rumors of 2022 Ford Bronco changes are all over the map, though, so it’s a good idea to take a closer look.

Ford Bronco Raptor - Find the best Ford deals!

Earlier this year, Ford teased the Bronco Raptor, ending speculation over its existence and name, but the flow of information stopped after a short film on the SUV. The hotrod Bronco will likely get a twin-turbo V6 and serious off-road hardware when it arrives, but there’s little to go on for now. If it follows the lead of the new F-150 Raptor, the Ford Bronco Raptor will get large off-road tires with the option to upgrade, similar to the F-150’s standard 35-inch tires with an available 37-inch upfit.

Ford Bronco Everglades - Find the best Ford deals!

Ford spokesperson Mike Levine took to Twitter earlier this month to confirm another unique version of the SUV. The 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will get a special snorkel-style air intake and winch. Though that single tweet is all we have to go on, the snorkel will improve the Bronco’s water fording depth, and the winch will take advantage of the Bronco’s modular bumper.

Ford Bronco Heritage Limited Edition - Find the best Ford deals!

Forums and social media have been hot on the idea of a Bronco Heritage model for months. A leaked Ford dealer document appears to show the SUV’s residual lease values, but Ford hasn’t stepped out to officially confirm or deny the model. Spy photos of the alleged limited-run Bronco have shown steel wheels and unique badging, but we’ll have to wait for Ford’s confirmation for the whole picture.

Kid Trax Ford Bronco Toy - Find the best Ford deals!

While it’s difficult, if not impossible, to get ahold of a new “real” Bronco at MSRP these days, Kid Trax has a solution, though it’s just for the little ones. The company’s battery-powered ride-on toy looks the part of a legitimate 2-door Ford Bronco, just much smaller and made of plastic. Target will be the exclusive retailer for the toy, which will go for around $300.
