Alfa Romeo Debuts New Models With Limited-Edition Giulia and Stelvio Estrema
On Monday, Alfa Romeo introduced the all-new limited-edition Giulia Estrema and Stelvio Estrema series. This new offering represents the first globally available limited model from Alfa Romeo.
Starting with the premium Veloce trim level, engineers at Alfa Romeo added driving dynamics technology from the high-performance Quadrifoglio model, including standard Alfa Active Suspension. This advanced suspension technology works by reading the road and quickly adjusting shock valving to deliver improved handling at speed - all while maintaining a comfortable ride.
Alfa Romeo’s Estrema models greatly benefit from continuous dynamics and weight collaboration - the result of Alfa Romeo’s F1 Team ORLEN, who employ their Formula 1 know-how to get the most out of their vehicles.
Both the Giulia and Stelvio include standard features like active cruise control, Lane Departure Warning, Active Blind-spot Assist, automatic emergency braking, and forward-collision warning with full-stop capability.
Alfa Romeo offers an optional Active Assist Plus package that includes:
- Driver Attention Alert
- Intelligent Speed Assist
- Highway Assist System
- Lane Keep Assist
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Traffic Jam Assist
- Active Blind-spot Assist with braking
- Security alarm
The Giulia and Stelvio models share the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. The Estrema comes equipped with Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all-wheel-drive system standard on the Stelvio, while the feature is optional on the Giulia. The direct-injection engine delivers results that are best-in-class for a standard powertrain with 280 horsepower and 306 lb.-ft. of torque. That impressive output delivers quick acceleration times, with both the Giulia and Stelvio achieving 0-60 in 5.5 seconds (5.1 for the AWD Giulia).
Wearing a carbon-fiber veneer on the grille and mirror caps, the Estrema exterior sports dark “Estrema” badging that hangs on the fenders and rear of the vehicle. With its gloss black finish, the B-pillar and window trim seamlessly blends into the side windows, while the alloy wheels (19-inch on Giulia Estrema, 21-inch on Stelvio Estrema) share the same gloss black finish.
The Giulia Estrema also offers an optional staggered wheel package that adds a wider rear wheel/tire combo for enhanced vehicle dynamics and a strikingly unique aesthetic. Branded with Alfa Romeo script in white, the gloss black colored brake calipers offer a stunning visual behind the wheels.
The limited-edition Estrema models are available in four colors:
- Alfa White
- Alfa Rosso
- Misano Blue
- Vulcano Black
The Estrema series includes a classy interior complete with a standard leather dash, steering wheel, center armrest, shift lever, and upper door panel coverings laced with high-quality red stitching. Accessories like Carbon fiber accents, similar to those found on the Quadrifoglio trim, adorn sections of the dash, doors, and center console. Occupants are comfortably held in place by black leather sport seats in an interior finished off with a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
Orders for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Estrema and Stelvio Estrema are now open, with units expected to become available in the third quarter of 2022.
