Stellantis has announced that it will auction the first production example of the Hellcat-powered 2021 Ram 1500 TRX for charity. Designed for maximum performance on or off the road, the new Ram 1500 TRX is a direct competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor (see how they compare).

If you want to own the first example of the Ram 1500 TRX ever built, you have until late March to take action. Vehicle identification number (VIN) 001 of 702 Launch Edition versions will cross the block at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in Arizona on Friday, March 26. Proceeds will benefit the United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline, which provides services to veterans and their families.

As if the first Ram 1500 TRX’s collectability were not assured, VIN 001 of the truck also comes with a special Authentication Kit. Packaged in a unique presentation box, the kit includes a custom bound book crafted by the Ram brand team, highlighting the truck’s development. Exclusive photos and video and a speed-form model are also a part of the Authentication Kit. Additionally, the auctioned truck will also have a unique Ram Truck cover developed by the 1500 TRX’s design team.

Barrett-Jackson is waiving all auction fees, ensuring that 100% of the proceeds go to United Way. If you wish to bid on VIN 001, visit Barrett-Jackson’s website and click on “Bid.”

Every Ram 1500 TRX has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine making 702 horsepower, which delivers 60 mph in a claimed 4.5 seconds. When driving off the pavement, the Ram TRX supplies 11.8 inches of ground clearance and suspension tuning designed for high-speed desert-running.

The Ram TRX Launch Editions have exclusive Anvil Gray paint and a special center console badge. They also include many optional features as standard equipment. Ram says the entire run of 702 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Editions sold out in three hours.
