Toyota Releases Specs For 2023 Camry Nightshade Special Edition
With one of the longest-running nameplates in the auto industry, the 2023 Camry will expand upon the line with a refreshed Nightshade Special Edition. Among the first Toyota models to offer the distinctive Nightshade edition, the Camry offers three moods of Nightshade for 2023, with exterior color options including White, Midnight Black, and the new Reservoir Blue.
The 2023 Camry Nightshade Special Edition has the stance and esthetics of a premium sport sedan and is available in SE grade front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and hybrid models. The Nightshade Edition has distinguishing features, such as a black rear spoiler, mirror caps, exterior badges, and new for 2023, black-trimmed headlights and taillights. One of its most notable features is the all-new 19-inch matte-bronze alloy wheels, giving the Camry a more aggressive look.
The Camry’s interior seamlessly blends functionality and style. Drivers feel a sporty cockpit-type feel with the Camry’s dash design and premium materials throughout the cabin. The interior trim for all Camry grades exudes a modern, high-tech look. Interior color choices vary depending on exterior color, with a palette including Macadamia, Black, and Ash. An exclusive Cockpit Red interior is available with the sport-oriented XSE grade.
The 2023 Camry is offered in three powertrains: a 2.5-liter Dynamic Force four-cylinder, a 3.5-liter V-6, and the next-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS II). The Dynamic Force four-cylinder produces an impressive 203 horsepower, while most AWD grades have 202 horsepower. The Camry XSE AWD grade comes with a dual-outlet exhaust and has 205 horsepower.
Pricing or on-sale timing for the 2023 Camry range has not yet been released. For reference, Toyota’s 2022 Camry Nightshade SE starts at $29,110, including $1,025 for delivery - so this should provide a general range to use as a starting point.
More details to come in future releases.
