With enhanced Porsche Stability Management you’ll have improved traction on inconsistent road surfaces giving you greater confidence and safety. Put the Boxter’s top down or open the Cayman’s windows and crank up the volume. The standard Sound Package Plus system offers excellent audio and the optional Bose or Burmester Surround Sound Systems offer even richer experiences. The Porsche Communication Management system in 718 Caymans and Boxsters features an easy-to-use 7-inch touchscreen where you can control advanced audio navigation and communication functions. Available Porsche Car Connect lets you transfer destinations from your smartphone’s address book to your vehicle start your car remotely and more. It comes with Apple CarPlay too. All Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster models are equipped with the Porsche Side Impact Protection System. It includes side-impact protection elements in the doors two airbags on each side an upward-inflating head airbag in each door panel and more. 718 Boxters use front and rear safety bars to create survival space in the event of a roll-over or side impact. The front safety bar is made from super-high-strength steel. Rear safety bars are made from an aluminum-and-steel composite combining a high degree of safety with reduced weight.

An optional 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission featuring manual and automatic modes offers extremely fast gear changes with no interruption in power. Not to mention even faster acceleration and better fuel economy.
