Rebranding with new models gives the automaker a much-need boost. The MKX gets rechristened as the Nautilus along with a new look, redesigned interior, and two turbocharged engines from which to choose with an eight-speed automatic transmission. There are new safety features also available including pedestrian detection and its innovative evasive steering to avoid collisions. The fourth generation of the Navigator builds on its last year debut with a lighter vehicle with better handling. The 2019 Aviator comes on the scene in style with its Suspension Preview Technology, designed to safeguard the vehicle’s performance by avoiding hazards. It features rear-wheel drive with an all-wheel version available. The 2019 MKC receives some modest restyling on the front end. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available along with a self-parking system. A new 285-horsepower, 2.3-liter EcoBoost version is optional. There are several advanced safety add-ons too including a forward-collision warning system.
