About RS 6

The Audi RS6 was brought to the United States during the 2003 model year. Taking the form similar to the A6 sedan, the 2003 Audi RS6 was fitted with upgraded front brakes and sport-tuned suspension system incorporating Dynamic Ride Control. Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive was standard on all 2003 Audi RS6. Featuring twin turbochargers and dual intercoolers, the 2003 Audi RS6’s engine is a 4.2-liter V-8 powerplant that generated 450 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque.

In 2003, the Audi RS6 was the brand’s most powerful production car sold in the United States. Paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, the engine of the 2003 RS6 allowed the vehicle to soar from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds. Standard on the 2003 Audi RS6 was 18-inch alloy wheels, 12-way power adjustable front seats, eight-speaker Bose sound system with subwoofer and power glass sunroof.

Intended to be a limited edition model, only 860 Audi RS6 sedans were shipped and sold in the United States. The Audi RS6 was no longer available in the United States following the 2003 model year.
