About Ioniq Electric

Part of Hyundai's Ioniq family of electrified vehicles, the Ioniq Electric is among the most significant products from the lineup premiering for 2017. Hyundai's first fully battery-powered car in the United States, the Ioniq Electric exhibits a high level of driving efficiency. Conforming to a tight 0.24 coefficient of drag, the exterior of the Hyundai Ioniq Electric is distinguished by unique front end treatment featuring a mock grille and LED low-beam headlights. Aluminum is also used in the construction of the hood and tailgate of the Ioniq Electric promoting weight optimization. Propulsion for the Hyundai Ioniq Electric consists of an electric motor and a 28-kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. Delivering 120 horsepower and 215 pound-feet of torque, the powerplant of the Ioniq Electric can function for 124 miles on a single charge. A fast charger incorporated on the Hyundai Ioniq Electric allows the car's battery to be charged to 80 percent capacity in just 20 minutes. For occupants of the electric vehicle, a "Purified High-tech" look is used for the interior featuring eco-conscious materials and standard seven-inch TFT information cluster.
