About Renegade
The Jeep Renegade represents the spirit of the popular off-road brand engineered using difficult technologies. An official entrant in the compact sport utility vehicle market for 2015, the Renegade was developed with a sizeable global input. Available with front-wheel drive and the choice of two 4x4 drive systems, the Jeep Renegade features a rugged and capable adventure vehicle. Optional My Sky open-air roof systems are offered on the Renegade consisting of lightweight, easy to remove fiberglass roof paneling. A 1.4-liter turbocharged MultiAir engine and a 2.4-liter Tigershark powerplant have been matched with the small sport utility vehicle. Providing optimized off-roading performance, the Renegade Trailhawk trim level includes skid plates, increased ride height and a Selec-Terrain system. For 2016, rain-sensing windshield wipers and a Beats audio system has been added to the available equipment list. Another unique attribute of the Jeep Renegade is the vehicle's production origin as it is built alongside the Fiat 500X at the Melfi Assembly Plant in Italy.
