About V90

Volvo has produced two iterations of the V90 reflecting the Swedish auto brand's top luxury wagon. For 1997 and 1998 model years, the Volvo V90 served as a refresh to the 960 Wagon brought under the auto company's new alphanumeric naming strategy. Propelled by a 2.9-liter inline-six engine, the first generation Volvo V90 boasted up to 74.9 cubic feet of cargo room. Alloy wheels, eight-way power adjustable front seats, premium eight-speaker stereo system, leather seating and anti-lock braking system was included as standard equipment on the first V90 wagon. 20 years after its first appearance, Volvo has revived the V90 wagon for 2017. A companion to the 2017 Volvo S90 flagship sedan, the V90 will feature high-end available touches such as panoramic roof, Bowers & Wilkins audio system and a four-zone climate control. As of mid-2016, engine options for the Volvo V90 wagon have not been confirmed for the United States. A hybrid-powered T8 Twin Engine is likely to appear as is a performance-themed Polestar performance package.
