2023 Ford Bronco Sport Heritage Edition and Heritage Limited Edition Preview
The Bronco Sport surprised everyone as a competent compact SUV that successfully borrows the rugged personality of the larger Bronco. It remains popular two years after its release, and to commemorate the launch of the original full-size Bronco SUV in 1966, Ford is releasing two special editions of the Bronco Sport for 2023.
The Bronco Sport Heritage Edition and Heritage Limited Editions bring unique retro styling and exclusive colors to the SUV family. The Bronco Sport Heritage comes with features from the Big Bend trim, which includes a turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine making 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. Ford's High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.) comes standard, bringing a slight lift and off-road struts.
Ford bases the Heritage Limited Edition Bronco Sport on the Badlands trim. That means a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine comes standard that makes 250 hp and 277 pound-feet of torque. Both SUVs get an advanced 4x4 system with twin-clutch torque vectoring on the rear axle. They also come with the Bronco's G.O.A.T. ("goes over any type of terrain") modes, including Sport, Eco, Slippery, and Sand. The Heritage Limited adds two additional modes for mud/ruts and rock crawling. It also gets 29-inch all-terrain tires and exclusive leather upholstery inside.
Unique exterior styling touches include a contrasting white roof and white 17-inch wheels. Body stripes and graphics add to the retro look, and the white grille features prominent red "BRONCO" lettering. Inside, the Heritage Edition package comes with plaid cloth seats and white accents on the door panels. Useful interior features from the standard Bronco Sport come standard.
The Bronco Sport Heritage and Heritage Limited Editions are available for order now. Pricing for the Bronco Sport Heritage Edition starts at $34,245, and the Heritage Limited Edition starts at $44,655.
