ALG, a division of J.D. Power, has announced its annual list of vehicles with the best resale value after three years of ownership. Additionally, Honda receives the best resale value award in the mass-market category, while Lexus is the highest-ranked brand in the premium category.
For the 2022 model year, ALG considered the brand outlook, product competitiveness, and used-vehicle market performance of 284 models across 29 vehicle segments. The results of the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. ALG Residual Value Awards are as follows.

There are 11 different cars with the best resale value in 2022, including one minivan. The most affordable is the Hyundai Accent subcompact sedan, while the most expensive is the Porsche 911 Carrera.
