Genesis Motors North America has announced changes for the 2021 model year. The big news is the introduction of a completely new model, the GV80 luxury SUV, and the total remake of a current model, the G80 luxury sedan. With a dramatically different design, re-imagined interior, and all-new mechanical components, the 2021 G80 blends passenger comfort, safety, and performance. One example of the car's advanced technology is Smart Cruise Control with Machine Learning that incorporates artificial intelligence within the advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) to enable the car to learn its driver's driving habits.

All-wheel drive is available on the GV80 2.5T and standard on the GV80 3.5T.
