Changes to 2021 Lincoln Models Reduce Lineup to Four SUVs

For 2021, Lincoln trims the model lineup down to just four offerings, all of them crossovers and SUVs. Both Lincoln sedans, the MKZ and the Continental, are cancelled for 2021. Otherwise, aside from a new Lincoln Corsair plug-in hybrid variant and a fresh interior and updated technology for the Lincoln Nautilus, most changes across the model line are minor.

All-new last year, the Lincoln Corsair compact crossover returns for 2021 virtually unchanged except for the introduction of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variant. The Corsair Grand Touring PHEV will get its power from a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor at the rear axle. Its 14-kW lithium-ion battery will allow 25 miles of electric driving before the gasoline engine starts up to continue the journey. A new appearance package and some new paint colors round out the Corsair’s updates.

The Lincoln Nautilus midsize SUV benefits from a new dashboard and interior details, as well as several interior tech upgrades. The most significant is a next-generation Sync 4 infotainment system with a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen display and a new “constellation” user interface. Aside from revised colors and added chrome, the exterior gets a minor front styling update.

Aside from an expanded palette of exterior colors, Lincoln’s luxury flagship SUV is a carryover model for 2021. The poshest Navigator Black Label trim now adds a limited-slip differential and a heavy-duty trailer towing package as standard equipment.
