New for 2017:Toyota Trucks, SUVs, and Vans

Toyota gives the popular Highlander SUV a thorough update for the 2017 model year, adding safety equipment, expanding the lineup, installing a new drivetrain, and more. The new 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro debuts, too, an off-road-ready version inspired by Toyota’s successful desert racing trucks. Other changes are relatively minor. Officially, the Tundra is now the oldest full-size pickup truck design on the market.
Detailed changes for each 2017 Toyota truck, SUV, and van model are shown on the pages that follow.

- Trail version renamed to TRD Off-Road
- TRD Off-Road joins the TRD Pro in the lineup, which also includes SR5 and Limited trim levels
- TRD Pro offered in new Cement, Super White, and Barcelona Red paint colors

- Lineup expands to include sporty SE, affordable LE Hybrid, and popular XLE Hybrid trim levels
- New 8-speed automatic transmission and 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 295 horsepower and automatic engine start/stop for gasoline-powered Highlanders
- Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights
- Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert standard for XLE, SE, and Limited trim levels
- Styling and interior updates, including more USB ports and a new brown leather option
- New colors: Celestial Silver, Toasted Walnut Pearl, Salsa Red Pearl

- Toyota makes no changes to the iconic Land Cruiser for the 2017 model year

- Lineup expands to include SE Hybrid and Platinum trim levels
- Standard equipment now includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights

- Toyota makes no changes to its full-size SUV for the 2017 model year

- New TRD Pro off-road truck debuts featuring a lifted front suspension, improved wheel travel, Kevlar-reinforced tires, a 278-horsepower V-6 engine, and 4-wheel drive
- Updated option packages for SR5

- Limited now includes standard power front seats
- New colors: Super White, Inferno, Quicksand, and Barcelona Red
